Codinha Chocolate is an artisan chocolatier based in beautiful Los Angeles. Combining French techniques with Filipino flair, our line of confections truly reflect a love for high-quality, artistic, and ridiculously delicious chocolates. We believe in passion, hard work, and that eating chocolate leads to happiness.




Our Process



Our bonbons are hand-crafted in small batches, taking three days for completion. From polishing to tempering to shelling to piping, every single bonbon and confection is done by hand. We draw from the finest cacao, and take our time to ensure that every creation is well balanced, memorable, and delicious.



Please note: All products created in a kitchen that also processes tree nuts, nuts, dairy, soy, and wheat. Items may contain trace amounts.




A Word from Tina Codinha,
Chocolatier & Creator



The truth is this has been a dream of mine since 2008. Ever since I asked myself, “What makes me happy?” and decided that the pursuit of chocolate was it.My life completely changed because of chocolate, and I’ve never worked harder for anything else! Like ever!

I’ve had the honor of working and learning under some of the best in the industry: Jacques Torres, Melissa Coppel, and the pastry kitchens of Aria, Bellagio, and The Wynn Las Vegas. Codinha Chocolate is truly a labor of love, a passion, and my way of saying, “Hello there friend, here’s some happiness.”



I’d like to extend gratitude to my first mentor, Chef Mark Blaauboer (RIP), for believing in me always and encouraging me to chase my dreams early on. To my parents and family for their constant love and support. And to my husband, Bruno: the best husband, teammate, co-owner I could ever ask for, whom I would never have met without chocolate.
